Awana group = A Workman Approved Not Ashamed

First off you may be asking what is AWANA. AWANA stands for A Workman Approved Not Ashamed and comes from 2 Timothy 2: 15.
 

The AWANA ministry trains children from preschool through 5th grade to memorize God’s Word and introduces them to missions.

AWANA includes a group lesson, game time, and then individual Bible time. The students earn awards as they work through their books. At the end of the year there is a pinewood derby to kick off the summer break.
